It is with much sadness that I must tell Miss Booey's blog readers that on Friday November 14, 2014 our beloved Miss Booey journeyed to the Rainbow Bridge.  She was such a wonderful cat and her loss leaves a giant hole in our hearts.

Until we meet again...

Where have I been?  Well I have been in the short house for longer than expected and then I moved to a new short house with Papa's mamasan and she really doesn't like cats at all so I have to lay low which is not hard because I have not been feeling well for awhile.  My blood pressure has been very high so my mobile vet, Dr. M, put me on more medication.  Every once in awhile she comes here and I go out into the big van and she does something to my tail and wraps some contraption around it.  How could my blood pressure ever be low when someone is doing THAT?

Then of course I have my thyroid problem and that has caused me to lose a tremendous amount of weight.  I am only five pounds now so if I walk fast Miss B who hates cats doesn't see me.

The biggest adventure of the summer was a long car ride that included my favorite thing; hotels!  We rode and rode and rode and by the time we stopped I couldn't get into my facilities fast enough.  Can you blame me if I had an accident or two?  I am a senior citizen after all.  It was fun to see the tall house and I thought maybe we were staying there but before long they had packed me back into the car house and we headed back to Miss B's where I live now.

When we got back home I started to get pretty sick and after awhile mamasan figured out that I had, FLEAS.  Not just a couple I had a zillion and they were killing me.  I was anemic and feeling really weak but they put some medicine on me and kept me in the small room where I have been ever since the flea outbreak.  I hear that the fleas even started biting Papa and Mama so at least I am not the only one.  Every day they get better and fewer fleas are biting.  They put this sticky thing with a light in the small room and I had grown to like it very much until one night my tail swished a little to close and suddenly I was caught in the flea trap.  I have not liked that thing since and keep away.

I spend a lot of time sleeping now but I can still purr really loudly.  That's all for now.

New bug sited!  This thing hops 6 feet up in the air!  Mama chased it with a paper and then ran outdoors screaming.  Wouldn't you know I found a BIGGER one to play with and Mama's screaming was LOUDER as she ran out the door.  Upon research I found that they are..
CRICKETS.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?  I can collect them and sell them?
Well meow meow meow that is good news!
Now if I can just control myself and not bite their legs off!

Popping in to say meow...
I have been losing weight lately so mamasan says she is calling the mobile vet.  Ahhh...the mobile vet?
We had mice at home in the tall house but I hate mice.  I hope they are gone when I get back there because I don't like going into the dark to use my facilities when the mice might be there.  I did say I don't like mice?

Here we have lizards.. the run fast but the good thing is they stay outside.  Except for that ONE that was in the hamper and I really did not like anything being in the bedroom with me so I stared at it til mamasan got it outside which is where it belongs.

Here in the short house I just walk right out into a garage and use my facilities which is a good thing unless there are spiders.  I wonder if there are spiders in the tall house.

Have you missed me?  I have had such a wonderful adventure and I wanted to share it with my friends on my blog but SHE always hogs the laptop with her time on Facebook.  Not to say there is anything WRONG with Facebook as I do spend a bit of time on there too...but C'MON!  I had pictures to post and stories to tell about motels and kittens and my L O N G ride and lizards and HOW WILL I EVER GET CAUGHT UP??????

First of all...remember that hussy that was hanging around with my outside boyfriend? Preggers!  She got so fat I was embarrassed for her.  Once she started hiding under the front steps even I knew she had popped!   It was getting closer and closer to the time when I would be taking my L O N G ride so we wouldn't be around to feed any outside cats.  The house was buzzing, boxes packed, clearing out, slamming and yelling, (just a little >^..^<) and tick tock!

Get a load of this.. mamasan had to call the Animal Control officer and they were all sent off to jail!  JAIL!  The officer sent pictures..

That gray one looks a lot like my boyfriend!

                                                                      Miss Gracie
The babies have been adopted but not Miss Gracie.  She might make a good friend for me if she stays away from my boyfriend!!
